It’s hard to believe that just two weeks ago, our house looked like what we not-so-affectionately called, “The McDonald’s Spaceship.” The new siding was finished on Friday, and husband spent the weekend painting the brick gray (it was a lovely task, cough cough), planting a few Azalea bushes, and installing a big new entry light. Because I am now seven months pregnant and kind of out of commission for renovating and heavy lifting, I made five trips to Lowe’s. All the product details after the jump.
Now we just need to paint the first floor windows, bars and the front fence (we are going to match it the windows on 2nd and third floor, which is darker than the brick, to make them pop), and then possibly buy a new door, or just paint it. The door price quote we got this weekend was $10K… excuse me while I pick my mouth up from the floor!
